Type: Permanent Contract, 37 hours a week (addition of call outs as
required).
Job Overview
The Wellington Primary Academies are looking to recruit a Caretaker for both of
our sites at Wellington Eagles and Wellington Lions. We are looking for a
positive individual who has a proactive approach to work, to join our friendly
team who are helping to create an exceptional place of learning.
The
Caretaker is responsible for the day to day, medium- and long-term maintenance
of both Primary schools. Ensuring they provide an appropriate safe and secure
environment for the education of students and the safe, comfortable, and
effective work of all the staff, contractors, and other visitors.
They
ensure the site is a safe and secure environment for all students, staff, and
visitors, ensuring it is in a good state of repair and appearance, including
all buildings, facilities, roads, pathways, grounds, and gardens.
Our
successful candidate will have previous experience and be able to use their
initiative to work independently, as well as part of the wider premises team,
to ensure the upkeep of the site.
