Senior Estates Officer job summary

Hours: 37 hours per week, all year round

As a key member of our Estates team, you will:

  • Carry out and oversee maintenance and repairs across school buildings and grounds.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including fire safety, asbestos, legionella, COSHH and emergency procedures.
  • Manage site security, including opening/closing, alarms and callouts.
  • Supervise cleaning teams and manage contractors on site.
  • Support minor projects, refurbishments and improvement works.
  • Respond promptly to issues and maintain high standards across all academies.

This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll take a proactive approach to keeping our academies safe, secure and well-maintained. You’ll need strong emotional intelligence, curiosity and a problem-solving mindset to thrive.
