Senior Finance and Payroll Officer

Start date: May 2025

Salary: Grade 8 (Points 26-30) £36,124 - £39,513 pro-rata. (Actual pro-rata salary for 25 hours/All year round working £24,383 to £26,671 per annum)

Hours of Work: Part-time 25 hours per week - All Year Round or Term Time Only plus 5 additional working weeks (43 working weeks)

We seek to appoint a skilled and professional Senior Finance and Payroll Officer for this key role in the Academy’s small and friendly finance department. The finance department is made up of the Finance Director, Finance Officer and this current vacancy, which has arisen due to a retirement. We are looking for the successful candidate to start at the beginning of May and this will allow for a three week handover with the current post holder.

The position has been advertised as 25 hours per week, to be worked over 4 or 5 days. We will also consider working hours of up to 30 hours per week.

The role will be either All Year Round working or term time only working with additional working weeks to cover payroll deadlines that will fall during school holiday periods.
