What skills and experience we're looking for

ESSENTIAL

  • 5 GCSE's with a minimum grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent
  • Hands-on 1st/2nd line support in a Windows environment
  • Experience in a helpdesk-style environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of audience
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A positive, solution-focused attitude
  • Understanding of the issues surrounding the safeguarding of children and a commitment to child welfare and safety


DESIRABLE

  • Experience of working in a school environment
  • Awareness of backup routines, scheduled maintenance and the impact of ICT facilities on teaching and learning
