What skills and experience we're looking for

St Mary’s College is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Leader to take overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the School’s strategy in relation to the pastoral education and welfare of pupils. Your leadership and management skills will be crucial to safeguarding all students and ensuring the effective delivery of the school’s pastoral system.

You will need to be committed to motivating students through a range of strategies, highly organised, and able to use your own initiative. It is desirable that you have extensive knowledge and previous experience of working within a Pastoral department in an educational setting, as well as an understanding and knowledge of alternative pathways.

The implementation of our new and exciting whole school Digital Literacy programme means that it is essential that you are ICT literate and competent in using a variety of software packages.
