What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and adaptable Senior Mobile Cook to support the delivery of high-quality catering services across our family of schools.
This is an exciting opportunity fo a catering practitioner to combine hands-on kitchen support with a wider Trust role focused on quality, training and continuous improvment. Working closely with the Regional Catering Manager, you will provide operational support across schools, undertake quality assurance visits, assist with staff training and development, and help ensure high standards of food safety, compliance and customer service are maintained.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience within a catering environment.
- Is passionate about delivering high-quality school meals.
- Has a strong understanding of food hygiene, health and safety and allergen management requirements.
- Can confidently support and coach colleagues across a range of settings.
- Is organised, proactive and able to work independently across multiple sites.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is able to travel between Trust schools.
This role will involve regular travel between Trust schools and provides an excellent opportunity for a catering professional who wishes to broaden their responsibilities whilst continuing to maintain a strong operational focus.
