Actual Annual Salary: £40,013 - £43,104 based on full time hours, term time only + 15 days
Annual Salary: £43,386 - £46,737 (CLF Grade G) based on full time hours, all year round
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week, Term Time Only, plus Insets and three additional weeks

An important, busy lead operations and administration role within one of our Bristol Secondary academies:
Due to the retirement of a long-standing member of staff, Hanham Woods Academy is seeking to appoint a Senior Operations Manager. Reporting to the Principal, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all major academy operations and administrative activities.
This is a fast-paced and reactive role, requiring someone who can ensure that robust administrative, compliance, and operational systems, processes, and procedures are in place and consistently adhered to.
The role will also involve line management responsibility for administrative staff. Working collaboratively as a team, they will ensure the academy meets its operational goals, enabling teachers and education support staff to focus on delivering high-quality education to the children attending the Academy.

You will -
- Have a passion for working with and supporting children and young people.

- Have a keen interest in working within an education-based environment and commitment to inclusion and acceptance of all.
- Provide evidence of effective leadership and line-management of staff including a team.
- Have experience of undertaking and developing a range of administrative tasks to a high standard.
- Be able to work with and influence colleagues in a variety of roles from across an organisation.
- Manage and prioritise a varied and busy workload as work to deadlines.
- Be knowledgeable in using BromCom or other bespoke Management Information system.
- Show experience of working on confidential matters.
