An exciting opportunity to be part of a strong team in a growing and thriving Academy with a clear vision and ambition for our students.

We are looking to appoint an additional Senior Science Technician to work alongside the current post-holder to lead and manage our small team of technicians to coordinate the use and development of practical resources and facilities within the science department including the provision of guidance and support in meeting the practical requirements of the science curriculum and liaising with all areas of the school and outside organisations. We welcome applicants with relevant experience and knowledge together with an understanding of relevant health & safety involved.

The successful candidate will be flexible, show initiative and be willing to learn any new skills required to support the ever-changing needs of a modern, rigorous and challenging Science curriculum. You will be joining a highly successful team that provides a great deal of support, including training and career development opportunities.

We have brand new generously sized science laboratories, all equipped with projectors and white boards. Our science centre has a large prep room on the top floor with a subsidy prep room on a lower floor serviced by a lift. Staff use a wonderful, shared, workspace that encourages our team ethos of shared planning and mutual support.
