36 hours per week, term time plus 1 week (40 weeks: 86.3%)

We require a Senior Science Technician to work within the Science Department at The Sacred Heart Language College. The post is for 36 hours per week, term time plus one week. This post is for one year in the first instance.

The successful candidate will be well motivated, organised and able to use his/her own initiative. Duties will include organising, ordering and preparing materials for use in the Science labs/classrooms, ensuring equipment is maintained in good order and assisting students. You will work under direction of the Head of Science. Training will be provided, particularly in Health & Safety and the use of specialist equipment.
