Senior Site Assistant - The Highfield School

Grade: H4

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working pattern: Shifts we will be rotated on a weekly basis between 6:30am-3pm and 10am-6:30pm. Friday 6:30am-2:30pm or 10:30am-6:30pm

Contract: Full time, Permanent, 52 weeks (All year round)

Salary: From £26,300 per annum

Starting: September 2026

We are looking for an enthusiastic and practical person for the role of Senior Site Assistant at The Highfield School. The successful candidate will oversee the security and safety of the site and ensure it is cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

The Highfield School is a fantastic environment to work within, and our well-established site team are looking for a fun, caring, team player to join them.

Essential:

You need to have good practical skills, a proactive attitude, and an interest in maintaining our school buildings and grounds to the highest standard.

You will need to enjoy working indoors and outdoors alongside young people, staff and visitors.

Be trained as, or be willing to be trained as a minibus driver

You will be joining a hard-working, skilled and experienced premises team, which is part of the Scholars’ Education Trust.
