Full time: 37 hours, 52 weeks per year
Hours: 0600 - 1400 or 0800 - 1600
Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, proactive, and highly organised Senior Site Manager to oversee the smooth running of our school’s facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference, contributing significantly to the high-quality education provision we strive to achieve across our Trust.
As Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the school site is safe, secure, and maintained to a high standard, creating a positive and supportive learning environment for pupils and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with all staff across the Trust
- Instruct and supervise maintenance and cleaning staff
- Take responsibility for the security and safety of the school buildings and grounds
- Undertake statutory checks, maintaining accurate daily, weekly, and monthly records
- Act as a key holder and attend emergency callouts when required
- Carry out general repairs, maintenance, and overall site upkeep
- Plan and prioritise maintenance work, liaising with the Director of Finance as needed
- Proactively identify defects and maintenance issues, taking action to minimise costs
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the school and its pupils
- Report defects beyond your expertise promptly, arranging external contractors where necessary
- Lead on all Health & Safety matters across the site
- Facilitate and supervise specialist contractors, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations

About You
- Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills
- Able to respond effectively to reactive maintenance issues while managing ongoing tasks
- Experienced in site management (school experience desirable)
- Proactive, practical, and solution-focused
- Committed to maintaining a safe and high-quality environment
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) qualification, or willingness to undertake training
