Senior Site Manager (multi-site) job summary
We are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to work across both Hollingwood Primary School and Poolsbrook Primary Academy. The two schools are part of the Flying High Partnership and have worked closely, in partnership with shared senior roles, since September 2025. This role is one of the shared roles and the successful candidate with have responsibility across both schools. It is an exciting role for the applicant to share their skills and expertise across multi-sites and this is reflected in the higher salary grading.

To play a key role in our school teams - working closely with our School Business Lead and Headteacher to plan maintenance and development of both school sites to meet the unique needs of each building, child and colleague.

To take pride and ownership of our school environment, from ensuring our children are safe and secure, through maintaining a clean and well-presented site and building, keeping the building running, all the way to managing and completing projects where appropriate to enhance the provision for our children.
Sustainable
To be proactive about solving site related problems and look for opportunities to improve, with a long-term mindset to reduce ongoing maintenance, costs and environmental impacts.
About this Role
The Role: As the Multi-site Site Manager, you will undertake a range of site management duties to the agreed quality standards, including security, compliance, overseeing health and safety compliance, managing contracts/contractors, cleaning, porterage, and maintenance of the school sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and operating within the school maintenance budget.
- Assisting with the determination of medium and long-term strategies for building maintenance and site development.
- Administering and coordinating building-related matters of maintenance, repair, and servicing.
- Supervising and providing directive advice to the cleaning staff and any members of the wider site team.
- Liaising with contractors, obtaining quotations, and supervising contractors on site.
- Undertaking regular inspections of the site, buildings, and plant, recording necessary repairs, and contacting contractors.
- Ensuring the security of the premises and attending to the intruder alarms where applicable.
- Cleaning designated areas and maintaining high standards in these areas.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has significant experience and expertise in a similar school site management role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Is a skilled communicator with strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Has a considerable understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Is proficient in using IT.
- Pays exceptional attention to detail and ensures accuracy in all tasks.
- Can effectively prioritise and manage their workload independently.
- Is committed to the values and ethos of our schools.
- Has remarkable practical skills in maintenance, DIY, and basic repairs.
- Is proactive and able to respond to emergencies effectively.
- Can work collaboratively with school staff and external contractors.
