We are looking for someone with experience working with children to support and develop their speech and language skills. The post holder will offer SALT assessments, create support plans, and provide advice and support to parents, carers and school staff. As the Senior Speech & Language Therapist, you will play a key role in creating, developing, and assessing the systems for speech and language across the Trust and developing the provision within our schools. This is a new role within the Trust so you would be able to take ownership of not only the role but also the systems for speech and language across our schools, alongside the School Improvement Partner for SEND.
This role is a permanent position, 32.5 hours per week term time only. The salary is within the Kent Range 10 £37,374 FTE, actual pro rata salary £27,758.60, based on 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
The Golden Thread Alliance is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020 and therefore is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
