What skills and experience we're looking for
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Acting up in the absence of the Headteacher
- SENCo (with NASENCO qualification or willingness and ability to obtain the SENCO NPQ within 3 years of appointment)
- Teaching a Year Five/Six Class initially
- Leading assessment throughout the school
- Subject lead for computing and a number of areas of the curriculum to be decided upon the appointment of the successful candidate.
- Deputy Safeguarding Lead.

- Willing to be involved in extracurricular activities
- Knowledgeable about KS2 curriculum, content and pedagogy (With a particular interest in teaching Year 5/6 and preparing pupils for Statutory Assessment Tests)

At Selattyn C.E. Primary School our vision is to nurture each individual in our care, giving them the skills, resilience and hope to succeed and flourish, both academically and spiritually. Our vision and values are at the heart of everything we do.
