This is a Fixed Term Role to 31/8/2026 due to being dependent on funding.

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School is part of Our Lady of Furness Catholic Federation. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and conscientious Senior Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil currently in one of our junior classes.


The successful candidate will:

  • Be supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the school.

  • Have previous experience or knowledge of 1:1 support

  • Have a good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

  • Hold relevant qualifications.

  • Have high expectations and demonstrate commitment.
