Senior Technical Specialist (IT) job summary

St Francis & St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Trust are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Technical Specialist to develop the use of technology across our primary academies. In this exciting role, you'll empower both staff and pupils by providing expert support, guidance, and advising on solutions for digital transformation. The successful candidate will be expected to operate effectively in a ‘deeply collaborative’ organisation with exceptional communication skills.

You will…

  • Enhance the digital infrastructure to maximise technology investments and ensure resources are used effectively.

  • Design and implement innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our academies.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners in order to provide outstanding support.

  • Provide proactive and reactive support to all primary academies within the MAC.

  • Research and deploy new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.

  • Lead technical projects and provide expert advice to colleagues.

  • Champion best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.

  • Extensive experience in developing, managing, and supporting IT infrastructure within an educational setting.
