Senior Wrap Around Club Playworker job summary

Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Senior Wrap Around Club Playworker to support the Wrap Around Club at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.

The role will be for 15 hours per week, working from 3.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

The main duties of the role are:

  • To support the school in providing a high quality Wraparound provision at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.
  • To supervise children who are attending the Wrap Around Club and provide a range of high-quality play activities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • As well as being professional, be friendly, patient and understanding towards children.
  • Have strong moral and ethical principles and values
  • Be enthusiastic and motivated and able to communicate well with a range of people
  • Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations
  • Be flexible, open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team and of course have a good sense of humour
  • Act with utmost integrity at all times
