Admiral Long C E Primary School is a village school in the heart of the local community but which also embraces children from other villages and the nearby towns of Harrogate and Ripon. It is a friendly and welcoming environment into which new pupils quickly settle. The children are split into 3 classes and the small class sizes allow individually tailored education for all pupils. This means that all the children make good progress both academically and in their social and emotional development.

Sicklinghall – SEND GTA 1:1
We are looking to appoint an inspirational member of staff who will provide 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil as needed. You will be providing 1:1 support within a classroom setting, encouraging the pupil, they are a calm pupil who thrives on consistency, receiving support from familiar, trusted members of support staff.
At Sicklinghall we have two pupils at our school who currently receive 1:1 support, to allow for some variation for both the pupils and staff there will be the opportunity to work with a different pupil than you predominantly support.
Key SEND GTA Experience:
- An understanding of Autism, ADHD, Trauma, Early Help, and Down Syndrome.
- A skilled professional who has an engaging and dynamic style of leading interventions
- An understanding of SEN support plans
Admiral Long - GTA
We seek a flexible member of staff to provide support across various classes assisting with maths interventions and phonics and outdoor learning / EYFS provision as well as monitoring pupils in our outdoor areas during lunch and break times and doing duties.
Key GTA Experience:
- Experience in various age groups, early years up to KS2
