Here at Ormiston Forge Academy we are looking for a Site Assistant to support the day-to-day maintenance, security and smooth running of the academy site. You will help ensure the buildings and grounds are safe, clean, secure and well maintained, responding to site issues and carrying out general maintenance and caretaking duties as required. You will work closely with the Site Manager and wider academy team to provide a welcoming, safe and positive environment for students, staff and visitors.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, trustworthy and able to work on their own initiative.
Practical and hands-on, with experience of caretaking, site support or general maintenance.
Flexible and proactive, willing to respond to a variety of challenges.
Confident with ICT for record-keeping and communication.
A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with colleagues and contractors.
