What skills and experience we're looking for

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Open and close the Academy as required
  • Set up and pack away tables/chairs for mock and public examinations
  • Switch alarms on/off as and when required
  • Assist with general site activities/tasks e.g. painting, repairs, maintenance
  • Set up equipment/resources as and when required e.g. for shows, events in our Sport Hall
  • Following H+S procedures to ensure site safety e.g. inclement weather
  • Ensuring site cleanliness e.g. empty bins, cleaning spillages etc.
  • Undergo any further training where necessary e.g. fire safety, manual handling etc.

We are looking for a Site Assistant to assist in the maintenance, cleanliness and security of the school premises and site, ensuring a safe working environment. This role will be based across two schools within our Trust – Shireland Biomedical UTC and Shireland CBSO Academy.
