Site Assistant (Full time SCP5)
Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real difference in a school community? We are looking to recruit a proactive, reliable, and flexible Site Assistant to help keep our site safe, welcoming, and well maintained for our pupils, staff, and visitors.
About the Role:
As a Site Assistant, you’ll work as part of our dedicated site team, supporting the upkeep, security, and day-to-day running of our school buildings and grounds. Reporting to the Site Co-ordinator, you’ll undertake a wide range of tasks including minor repairs requiring use of basic power tools, site safety checks, porterage, and ensuring the premises are always clean and secure.
This position would be suitable for candidates with previous experience of property maintenance or as the first step on the ladder for somebody looking to start a career in Estate Management. A full training programme will be provided.
Key Responsibilities include:
General site maintenance and cleaning
Minor repairs and decorating
Security duties including key holding
Setting up rooms for school events
Supporting deliveries and waste management
Routine health and safety checks
Assisting with contractor and supplier liaison
Basic Administration to update maintenance and health and safety records.
