Site Assistant job summary
Exciting opportunity to join our Site Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable Site Assistant to work in our Infant and Junior Schools. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe and secure environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. If you are energetic, dependable, and enjoy working as part of a team, we would love to hear from you!
The position will work closely with the Site Manager and include the security and supervision of the site and related equipment, porterage, cleaning and maintenance.
We are looking for someone who has the following experience and qualities:
- Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders e.g. school staff, suppliers, contractors
- Relevant experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential
- Can work independently and use your own initiative
- Be able to display effective communication skills
- Be eager to work collaboratively in a wider team, be adaptable and open to new ideas and practices
Hours
- The role is full-time; 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
- Monday to Friday with core hours between 07:00 – 17:00
- Occasionally early mornings or late nights may be required
Salary
- Surrey PS3 – £23,567 per year
