About Balby Central Primary Academy
We pride ourselves on our strong inclusive ethos and rich cultural diversity which celebrates each child’s uniqueness and individuality at Balby Central. Our aim is to unlock each individual child’s potential to succeed, thrive and to be happy on their own journey with us.
Our approach is driven by high expectations of learning and behaviour encouraging all children ‘to be the best they can be’ as we endeavour to create unforgettable learning experiences and immerse children in an environment where they feel confident to challenge themselves. We are constantly adapting to meet the needs of all as learners in this ever-changing society and ensuring that they are ready for the next stage in their lives. During their time at Balby Central, children are taught the skills of collaboration and the power of talk, confidence, resilience and effort, determination and reflection to support their academic successes.
Our children learn about ready, respectful, safe behaviours and how they can make a difference to themselves and others in the school community and beyond. We value the links we make with parents, governors and the local community and believe they are essential to achieve the aspirational goals we have for our children and their futures.
