What skills and experience we're looking for

King James Academy Royston are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated Site Manager to lead and guide our site team. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is keen to develop their health and safety knowledge and to make a difference in a self-rewarding role. Ideally with a background in either premises management or building experience along with statutory compliance knowledge. Experience in the education sector is not essential, but general experience in property and team building along with personnel management background are essential.

King James Academy is a through school formed from the amalgamation of two middle schools and an upper school in 2019. Since 2020 it has been part of the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust. It is approximately 12 miles from Cambridge and is within easy access of London. The three schools were each recognised as ‘Good’ in all categories by Ofsted in their last inspections prior to the merger.
