Site Manager (Multi-Site) job summary
Site Manager (multi-site)
Woodbridge Trust is a special school trust for pupils with complex learning difficulties. The trust is based in Bolton and comprises Firwood High School and Sixth Form, Ladywood School, Woodbridge College and Woodbridge SEND Service.
Due to internal growth Trustees are looking to appoint a highly practical and proactive Site Manager to work across our Firwood Sixth Form and Woodbridge College sites, all based within Bolton.
This role presents an opportunity for the right candidate to hold responsibility for multiple sites and be part of an exciting journey as the Trust continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the grounds and premises of each setting are well maintained, safe and compliant with all health and safety regulations,
- Managing site security, including opening and closing the premises and ensuring all systems (alarms, lighting, heating) function effectively.
- Liaising with contractors and overseeing routine maintenance and repair work.
- Carrying out minor DIY repairs and ensuring a clean, safe learning environment for students and staff.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has relevant experience in site or facilities management, ideally in a school or similar setting.
- Has a strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Is hands-on, organised, and takes initiative to solve problems.
- Communicates well with adults and children and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
- Can work independently and adapt to the changing needs of the settings.
- Have a full driver’s license, and an ability to travel to each of the sites within Bolton
