Site Manager job summary
We are seeking to appoint a permanent, full time Site Manager for our two form of entry primary school with 375 children on roll from 3-11 years of age. The Site Manager is assisted by a full time Site Assistant and there will be a period of overlap in the middle of the day. This role will be worked from 10.30am until 6.30pm daily (30 min lunch break) and is a 52 week contract, with a paid holiday entitlement of 24 days per year plus bank holidays.
We are looking for a friendly, hardworking and reliable Site Manager to ensure the satisfactory operation of the school's buildings, grounds and equipment to support the learning and work environment and maintain the highest health and safety standards. The school is on a large, flat site and has been well maintained and is in a good state of repair.
The Site Manager will be line manager to our capable Site Assistant and team of cleaners and will be supported by the School Business Manager and Headteacher.
This role will suit someone who has the ability to work on their own initiative, thrives on solving problems, can prioritise their daily workload, has a professional attitude to work and can communicate confidently with school staff and contractors.
