We are looking for a proactive, reliable and skilled Site Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our school site.

At SGS Forest High School, we know that safe, secure and well-maintained surroundings make a huge difference to the experience of students, staff and visitors every single day. This is a varied, hands-on and important role within a school that is improving rapidly and sits at the heart of its community.

You will be trusted to lead and manage the operational upkeep of the site, ensuring our school remains safe, welcoming and fit for learning.

No two days are the same. From maintenance and repairs to site security, contractor management and health & safety, you will play a key role in keeping the school running smoothly and maintaining high standards across the site.

We are looking for someone practical, organised and dependable - someone who notices what needs doing, takes initiative and takes real pride in their work.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will oversee the maintenance, safety, security and presentation of the school buildings and grounds including:

  • Maintaining a clean, safe and secure school environment
  • Carrying out maintenance, repairs and refurbishment work
  • Managing day-to-day site issues proactively and efficiently
  • Supervising contractors and overseeing maintenance projects
  • Supporting health & safety compliance across the school
  • Ensuring the school site is welcoming, operational and well cared for

This role carries real responsibility and autonomy, and the successful candidate will become a visible and valued member of the school community.
