Working hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Holiday entitlement of 25 days + Bank Holidays
Hours of Work: Between the core hours of 6am - 6pm.
Actual annual salary: £27,777 - £33,024

Are you a current School Site Manager seeking a new role or a Caretaker looking to develop in a new position? If so, we are looking to appoint an efficient and enthusiastic Site Manager to carry out compliance checks, maintenance, health & safety and general caretaking duties within a small secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the caretaking team to ensure the safe upkeep of the school's facilities. - Perform a range of duties, including site maintenance, event support and security, with a strong emphasis on Health and Safety. - Undertake general maintenance and repairs across various disciplines, including plumbing, electrical, and decorating .
The successful applicant will: - have good written and oral communication skills that allow effective communication with all levels of school staff, students and the wider community.
- be able to build and maintain effective working relationships
- be friendly, enthusiastic and a good team player.
- have knowledge and understanding of health and safety procedures
- have a good standard of DIY skills to undertake general maintenance and repairs
- be reliable, a good problem solver and able to work on their own initiative
