We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join our team based primarily at Thomas Bullock CE Primary and Nursery Academy, part of the Nightingale Federation a recently graded Good and Improving school demonstrating Outstanding in all areas. The role will also involve supporting the wider federation through visits to Lyng Primary Academy, providing site management support and fulfilling compliance responsibilities. The division of hours will be discussed further with candidates during the interview stage, however, is anticipated to be 27.5 hours at Thomas Bullock and 5 hours at Lyng, with flexibility in discussion with the Headteacher when larger caretaking tasks may need completing. *There is also the possibility for an additional 4 hours per week in the future at another local DNEAT academy.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day care, presentation, and maintenance of our school site and buildings, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Working closely with the Headteacher, School Business Manager, and Estates Officer, you will take pride in upholding high standards of health and safety, compliance, and site security.
This role would suit someone with a strong background in general maintenance, health and safety, and who brings a proactive, hands-on approach.
