Salary: Thurrock Band D Point 20 - 25
£27,878.92 - £31,641.89 per annum
7.00am - 3.30pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break (Split shifts will be considered for this role)
30 hours per week
52 weeks per year
20 days annual leave

We are looking for a practical and well-motivated person to work at Warren Primary School. The role will include a wide range of responsibilities and duties connected with ground and facilities maintenance of the site including being a key holder responsible for opening and locking up the school. Under the direction of the Headteacher and the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust H&S department, you will also carry out Health and Safety checks in accordance with Trust policies to ensure the school remains compliant, and line manage site staff.
The successful candidate will be:
- A hands-on individual who can maintain, develop and implement systems and procedures
- Practical; with good DIY skills
- Able to contribute to projects and maintenance schedules
- Self-motivated and willing to work on your own initiative
- Adaptable regarding hours of work to meet the needs of the school
- Able to communicate effectively with contractors and central functions
