Post Title: Site Manager

Contract Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) 52 weeks per year

Working Pattern: Monday and Tuesday 7 a.m. – 10.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. - 6.30 p.m.

Wednesday and Thursday 7 a.m. – 10.30 a.m. and 2pm – 6 p.m.

Friday 7 a.m. – 10.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Grade: KR6

Salary: £25,127 FTE

Can you support the school to create a safe working environment?

Do you have the skills to manage the workload across our school site?

We are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled, reliable and trustworthy person to the post of Site Manager at our popular and friendly school.

You would be responsible for:

ensuring all checks and services are logged on our compliance tracker and keep accurate maintenance records

liaising with external contractors ensuring safe working practices are followed

developing, implementing and maintaining an appropriate programme of repair and maintenance activities across the site

the health and safety requirements on site

the general maintenance of the buildings and grounds

the project management of specific work involving liaising with contractors

ensuring the security of the school site and arrangements are in place for emergency call outs.

The successful candidate should have had previous experience of premises and general maintenance, should be physically fit, enjoy walking, working as part of a team in a school setting and be confident in communicating face to face, by telephone and by e -mail. They will also ideally be computer literate. They will need to be able to prioritise duties, which may involve working under their own initiative and also independently.
