What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking someone who has the relevant experience to keep our buildings and grounds safe, inviting, and at a high standard of upkeep, and who will work in partnership with us to:
- Coordinate the day-to-day work of the caretaker
- Manage the school site, buildings and grounds
- Undertake a range of DIY repairs including maintenance, decorating, carpentry plumbing, glazing and appropriate cleaning
- Take responsibility for security and Health and Safety, including unlocking and/or locking the schools
- Ensure our school is kept spotlessly clean, liaising with a team of contract cleaners
- Support contractors and lettings
- Set up for performances, lettings, lunches and evening meetings
- Help to maintain and develop our school grounds and outdoor learning provision

Squires Lane Learning Federation is recruiting a site manager to lead and manage all aspects of property including maintenance, health and safety, and facilities management. You will work with a school caretaker across our two schools, Manorside Primary School and Tudor Primary School. Both are small, welcoming community schools, located a few hundred metres apart.
