Site Officer/Caretaker job summary

Site Officer / Caretaker

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated colleague to join our Site Team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day security, safety, cleanliness and general maintenance of our School site.

Specific responsibilities will include the securing and unlocking of all school buildings, portering tasks, ground care, site maintenance, and managing school lettings.

The position of Site Officer necessitates a good level of physical fitness due to the diverse and physically demanding nature of the job responsibilities such as lifting and moving heavy objects. You will often spend extended periods on your feet, navigating various areas of the School site and grounds.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of our Team. Strong DIY skills are also imperative. Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable but is not essential.
