Site Operative job summary
Miers Court Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Site Operative, to start from July 2025.
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Site Operative to join our friendly primary school community. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our school is a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include general maintenance, security of the premises, health and safety checks, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the school. We are looking for someone who is proactive, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being part of a team that makes a real difference in children’s lives.
This is a part-time, all-year-round, permanent role, paid based on the NJC pay scale D2 point 4-11 (FTE £24,404 - £27,269 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £16,489 - £18,425 per annum).
The working pattern will consist of 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday 13:00-18:00.
