Site Operative job summary
The Howard School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Site Operative to join the Facilities team, to start from September 2026.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the school site is a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include general maintenance, site security, health and safety checks, assisting with after-school lettings, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the school.
This is a full time, permanent role, all year round, paid on the NJC pay scale D2 point 4-11 (FTE £25,185 - £28,142).
The working pattern will consist of 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
