Hours: 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day (either split across the morning and afternoon or worked in one block)

Barnsole Primary School is seeking a committed Site Supervisor to play a key role in ensuring our school remains safe, secure and well-maintained for pupils, staff and visitors.
Working closely with the Regional Estates Manager and wider school team, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the school site, helping to create an environment where children can learn, grow and succeed.
In this role, you will:
Support the safe and efficient operation of the school site
Carry out minor repairs, maintenance and general site upkeep
Assist with grounds maintenance and site presentation
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements
Conduct routine site inspections and identify any maintenance issues
Liaise with contractors and support external works on site
Assist with setting up spaces for school events and activities
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive environment for the whole school community
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience in site management, caretaking, facilities or building maintenance
Has a good understanding of health and safety requirements
Is practical, organised and able to work independently
Takes pride in maintaining high standards across buildings and grounds
Can identify and resolve issues proactively
Has strong communication skills and works well with staff, contractors and visitors
Is flexible and willing to undertake a variety of tasks
Is IT literate and confident using Microsoft and Google systems
Has experience of CAFM systems or is willing to learn
Most importantly, you'll be someone who cares about creating a safe, welcoming environment where children can thrive.
