What skills and experience we're looking for

Someone who:

  • Has excellent knowledge of health and safety procedures.

  • Has experience in site maintenance and acting as a keyholder, ensuring the security of the buildings and grounds.

  • Has strong communications skills and can liaise effectively with contractors, ensuring repairs and maintenance are completed to a high standard.

  • Is self-motivated, proactive and able to multi task, prioritise and manage their own work load

  • Can undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks and problem solve when necessary.

  • Will ensure that the site, including footpaths and playgrounds, is safe and free from hazards

  • Has the ability to work under pressure at times, to meet deadlines and to cope with interruptions.

  • Can be flexible and is willing to undertake adhoc work to enable the school to function appropriately.

  • Commit to the security and safeguarding arrangements according to school policies.

  • To maintain confidentiality at all times and ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
