Site Supervisor job summary
We are seeking to appoint an excellent Site Supervisor with immediate effect. This role is an important one to focus on health and safety, site security, ensuring relevant services are carried out and monitored along with a range of other related responsibilities as advertised in the job description. The successful candidate will contribute substantially to the continuing development and maintenance of the school site and to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community. You must be motivated, self-directed and able to direct the work of others and have the ability to work with the senior team and school staff.
Previous experience within a school in this role is preferable but not essential.

The successful candidate should ideally be:
• able to liaise with and manage contractors
• able to carry out minor repairs (decorating experience would be an advantage)
• proactive and flexible in your approach with the ability to solve problems and make decisions
• able to use initiative to pre-empt further issues
• able to work collaboratively as part of a team
• willing to learn and update skills and knowledge
• willing to work out of usual school hours (including weekends) to support lettings and other events
