What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a permanent Academic Learning Mentor to join our successful and dedicated Sixth Form team as soon as possible. Newquay Tretherras Sixth Form (NT6) offers a vibrant and friendly environment which challenges students to achieve highly so that they can fulfil their potential and their goals. We offer high quality teaching, with a proven track record of success across a wide range of A Level and Vocational subjects. The Class of 2023 set new records for the school, surpassing the previous records set in 2019, achieving 32% of grades at A*-A, 60% at grades A*-B and a 100% pass rate at A level. Students also had incredibly strong success in vocational subjects, with 91% of grades awarded at Distinction* and Distinction, (the highest possible grades achievable).
