Sixth Form Head of Year (Initially Year 12) job summary
Charters School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Sixth Form Head of Year to join our successful and supportive school community in September 2026
The successful candidate will be:
Passionate about supporting the academic progress, wellbeing and personal development of young people
A supportive and proactive pastoral leader with high expectations of students
Able to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
Committed to maintaining high standards of behaviour, engagement and attendance
Organised and able to work collaboratively as part of a wider Sixth Form and pastoral team
Additional Information
The ability to teach Economics would be welcomed, but is not essential for the role
The school is a very heavily over-subscribed 11-18 Comprehensive School with 1710 students on roll including 390 in the Sixth Form.
