Working Hours 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum (term time plus one week).

Working Pattern Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

As a Sixth Form Progress Support Officer, you’ll play a vital role in shaping our Year 12 & 13 students’ success. What You’ll Do:

  • Build Relationships: Establish meaningful connections with students, creating a positive and professional presence within the Sixth Form.

  • Shape Character: Play a key role in developing our students’ character values. Character is never fixed; it’s an ongoing journey.

  • Collaborate: Liaise with pastoral staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure students receive the support they need.

  • Promote Excellence: Be a role model for high expectations of student behaviour and inclusion.

Your skills:

  • Experience working with young people.

  • Initiative: Prioritise tasks and see them through to completion.

  • Effective and Professional Communication with students, staff and parents.

  • Adaptability: Embrace change and new practices.

  • Independence: Work effectively without direct supervision.
