What skills and experience we're looking for
- We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and student-focused individual to join our experienced and supportive team in an exciting role supporting student achievement and progress. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate to make a real difference to students’ lives by providing targeted mentoring, intervention and academic support, helping students to develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to succeed. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching and pastoral staff, supporting identified students through 1:1 and small group interventions.
- The role will include:
- • Providing mentoring and support to identified students
- • Delivering structured intervention programmes and study support sessions
- • Supporting students with organisation, resilience and motivation
- • Monitoring and tracking student engagement and progress
- • Working closely with staff, parents and carers
- • Supporting a positive learning environment
- We are seeking a candidate who:
- • Has experience or strong interest in working with young people
- • Demonstrates strong communication and organisational skills
- • Can build positive relationships with students, staff and families
- • Is flexible, proactive and committed
- • Has enthusiasm for helping students overcome barriers to learning
