SIXTH FORM SUPPORT OFFICER
Required: Earliest Convenient Starting Date
Contract Term: Permanent Full-Time Post - Term Time plus 5 days (includes 3 INSET days and 2 exam results days in the summer holidays) Given thenature of the post, a job share/part-time is not suitable.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00 am-16:00 pm / Friday 08:00 am-15:30 pm
Salary: H5.9 £26,107 plus fringe £988 (pro- rata £ 22,696 pa)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, professional and reliable full-time Sixth Form Support Officer to join our dedicated and friendly staff team. The Sixth Form Support Officer will be responsible for the supervision of the Sixth Form study area and provision of general support for the Director and Deputy Director of Sixth Form, including; monitoring attendance & punctuality and the administration of the UCAS process.
Key requirements:
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or the equivalent) is essential
- Excellent English speaking skills
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience of working with 16-18 year olds within an education environment is desirable.
