Social Media & Events Administrator (Part-time) – Foxes

Location: Minehead, Somerset

Salary: £14,802.48 - £16,041.86 (FTE £26,665.80 - £28,849.60)

Hours: 24 Hours per week, Monday-Friday (10am-3pm roughly) – Term time plus additional days and training (42 weeks per year)

Your Role:

As our Social Media & Events Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing Aurora Foxes and Foxes Hotel’s social media presence, ensuring our channels reflect the energy, achievements, and inclusive ethos of our community. You’ll plan and create engaging content from student success stories to event highlights, using photography, video, and tailored copy across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

Alongside your digital work, you’ll take the lead in organising key events such as our annual Graduation ceremony. This includes everything from coordinating invitations and seating plans to ensuring the day is professionally delivered and beautifully captured. You’ll work closely with staff, students, and our central marketing team to gather stories, promote activities, and build a positive online community that celebrates everything Foxes stands for.

Skills and Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

Experience managing social media for a brand, organisation, or project

Strong photography and video editing skills

Excellent writing skills with a flair for storytelling

A creative eye and attention to detail

Understanding of safeguarding, GDPR, and media consent

Highly organised with the ability to juggle deadlines and priorities

A full uk driving license and use of your own car is essential
