The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Special Education Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCo) to join our highly committed team. This will be a fixed term. The successful candidate should have sound knowledge of the SEND code of practice, teaching experience across the primary age range and substantial experience as SENDCo in a primary setting. Holyoakes Field First School is a two form entry First School and Nursery in Redditch, Worcestershire. We are part of the Bordesley Multi-Academy Trust.

This post includes a small teaching commitment (PPA cover).
The role of SENDCo will involve meeting parents, families and professionals and working with children. The successful candidate will understand the importance of assessments and fully meet the needs of children with EHCPs. They will be involved in developing our SEND provision and working with teachers and teaching assistants to implement it.
