What skills and experience we're looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with NASENCO or commitment to NPQ within 3 years of appointment
- Experience working with SEND children in an educational setting
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework, national curriculum and its principles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for young children

Further details about the role
- You will play a crucial role in ensuring that pupils with special education needs and disabilities receive the support the require to thrive academically, socially and emotionally
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the holistic development of each child
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues and external parties to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Identify and assess pupils with SEND through collaboration with teachers, parents and external parties.
- Prepare Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and other personalised support mechanisms for pupils with SEND To promote the welfare of children and to support the school in safeguarding children through relevant policies and procedures.
