Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENDCO) - 3 days per week job summary
We are looking for a self-motivated, inspirational and visionary SENCO. The post would suit someone who demonstrates passion, commitment and the desire to make ‘a real difference’. As SENCO you will take on the responsibility for the day-to-day operation for the provision made by the school for pupils with SEND across the school. This is a hugely rewarding opportunity to make a difference in children’s lives and realise the aspirations of our most supportive parents/carers.

Candidates should have:-
- Qualified teacher status
- National Award for SEN Co-ordination.
- Experience of working as a SENDCO with children in a school setting
- Sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
- A commitment to getting the best outcomes for all pupils and promoting the ethos and values of the school
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Commitment to safeguarding and equality, ensuring that personal beliefs are not expressed in ways that exploit the position
