Are you highly passionate about education and supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities? Are you an experienced teacher with experience of teaching children with SEND?
If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Friars Primary School and Nursery is a highly popular school based in Shoeburyness. We are lucky to have amazing children, staff and facilities. We are looking to welcome a new SEN teacher to our happy team for this September.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Under the direction of the Assistant Principal/SENCo, plan and teach groups of children with SEND from across the age ranges to support their all-round development
- Conduct key SEND assessments to support the SENDCo and Assistant SENDCo
- Maintain, order and develop resources pertaining to SEND
- Support the writing of ISP plans
- Provide colleagues with strategies for SEND pupils
- Liaise with key agencies including parents around all areas of SEND as necessary
