About the role -
Total Hours: 2 hours and 45 mins per day; Monday to Friday
Start Time: 12:45pm
End Time: 3:30pm
As a Teaching Assistant working 1:1 with a pupil who has special educational needs, your primary role is to provide tailored support to help the pupil achieve their full potential. You will work closely with the class teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt learning materials to meet the pupil's specific needs. Your responsibilities include assisting with classroom activities, providing emotional and behavioural support, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Additionally, you will monitor the pupil's progress, communicate effectively with parents and other professionals, and ensure that the pupil feels safe, supported, and encouraged in their educational journey.
