Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) Lead Teacher job summary

About Us and the Role

We are excited to announce the opening of a brand-new Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) at Lordship Farm Primary School, launching in January 2026, with preparatory work starting in September 2025. We are seeking a talented and passionate Lead Teacher to take a central role in establishing and leading this provision.

Our SRP will extend our inclusive educational offer and reflect our school’s core belief: that every child is unique, with individual needs, abilities, and potential. We set high expectations and foster ambition in a nurturing, respectful environment.

This leadership role involves day-to-day management of the SRP and its staff, working closely with the school’s SENCOs and Inclusion Leader to ensure the highest standards of teaching, care, and support.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly in the areas of cognition and learning, communication, and autism.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team, liaise with external agencies, and engage effectively with families.

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching tailored to the needs of each child, with a focus on specialist literacy approaches and inclusive curriculum access.


Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience supporting children with speech, language, literacy, and social communication difficulties.

  • A keen interest in deepening your understanding of speech sound disorders and their impact on learning.

  • Experience contributing to whole-school strategies for supporting pupils with speech and language needs.

  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
